Welcome to Insloom. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Insloom's AI-powered customer support chatbot platform, including the website at insloom.com, the dashboard at app.insloom.com, any embeddable widgets, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing the dashboard, or embedding our widget, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Insloom," "we," "us," "our" refers to Insloom, the company providing the Service.
  • "User," "you," "your" refers to the individual or entity using the Service.
  • "Workspace" refers to a project environment within the dashboard where you manage knowledge sources, widgets, and team members.
  • "Knowledge Source" refers to any website URL, document, or content you provide for AI training.
  • "Widget" refers to the embeddable AI chatbot component deployed on your website.
  • "End User" refers to visitors who interact with your deployed Widget.

2. Account Registration & Security

To access the Service, you must create an account at app.insloom.com. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or exhibit suspicious activity.

3. Service Description

Insloom provides an AI-powered chatbot platform that:

  • Automatically crawls and indexes your website content.
  • Generates AI-driven responses based on your knowledge sources.
  • Offers a customizable, embeddable chat widget for your website.
  • Provides analytics on conversations and visitor interactions.
  • Supports lead capture and team collaboration features.

The Service is continuously evolving. Features may be added, modified, or removed as we improve the platform.

4. User Content & Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or provide ("User Content"), including:

  • Website data and crawled content.
  • Uploaded documents and knowledge sources.
  • Conversations between your Widget and End Users.
  • Workspace configurations and customizations.

By using the Service, you grant Insloom a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and use your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service. We do not use your content to train general-purpose AI models or share it with other customers.

5. Usage Limits & Fair Use

Each subscription plan includes defined usage limits (e.g., number of workspaces, knowledge sources, conversations per month, messages per conversation). These limits are clearly stated on our Pricing page. If you exceed your plan limits:

  • Your Widget may temporarily stop responding to new conversations.
  • You will be notified and encouraged to upgrade your plan.
  • Limits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle.

6. Subscription & Billing

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
  • Prices are displayed in USD. Local currency and applicable taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) may apply based on your region.
  • All payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments as the Merchant of Record.
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. In summary, we offer full refunds within 3 days of the initial subscription payment. After 3 days, refund requests are not eligible but you may cancel to prevent future billing.

8. AI Output Disclaimer

Insloom uses advanced AI models to generate responses based on your content. However:

  • AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI responses as needed.
  • Insloom is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
  • The AI is designed to only respond based on your provided knowledge — if it doesn't know something, it will say so.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Distribute malware, spam, or malicious content through the Widget.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, or exploit the Service.
  • Impersonate Insloom or any other entity.
  • Use the Service to harm, deceive, or mislead End Users.
  • Exceed reasonable usage patterns (automated abuse, scraping, etc.).

10. Service Availability

While we strive for high uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, feature updates, and infrastructure upgrades may occasionally impact availability. We will notify users of planned downtime when possible.

11. Intellectual Property

The Insloom platform, including its design, code, branding, and proprietary technology, is owned by Insloom and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insloom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Insloom harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time via the dashboard or by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
  • Upon termination, your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period (typically 30 days).

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India (Punjab). Any disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation first, and if necessary, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Sangrur, Punjab, India.
